CHARLES J. GAYNER, ESQ

 

 

Charles has over 27 years of experience in the areas of personal injury, insurance defense, matrimonial and criminal law. He is admitted to practice law in the States of New York and New Jersey and the United States District Courts of the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey. The New York Jury Verdict Reporter named Charles J. Gayner on the list of "Top Verdicts" attorneys.

RACHEL EHRLICH, ESQ

 

 

Rachel has over 20 years of experience in matrimonial and family law and is a recognized member of the bar. Representative of her success is the fact that she is referred business, not just by satisfied clients, but by other attorneys, court personnel and judges. Rachel believes that personal attention, responsiveness and a straightforward approach is essential to the attorney-client relationship. She is a skilled negotiator and zealous advocate and often times guest speaker. 

 

Rachel is a 1994 graduate of New York Law School, is admitted to practice law in the States of New York and New Jersey. Multiple verdicts for our clients have been published in the New York Jury Verdict Reporter giving special recognition to our trial skills and aggressive approach to a maximum recovery for our clients. INSURANCE DEFENSE

Our client list includes multiple insurance companies, third party administrators and self-insured entities. We have successfully handled first party claims, indemnification and coverage issues. Charles in particular regularly lectures on sidewalk accidents, construction and labor law matters, spoliation, discovery, litigation procedure and risk management among other topics to carriers and companies handling claims in New York and New Jersey. We handle all aspects of divorce, custody, parenting time, spousal and child support, equitable distribution, post judgement enforcement and modification, relocation and defense of relocation and return of abducted children under The Hague Convention.   • You are entitled to have your questions and concerns addressed promptly and to receive a prompt reply to your letters, telephone calls, emails, faxes, and other communications.

  • You are entitled to be kept reasonably informed as to the status of your matter and are entitled to have your attorney promptly comply with your reasonable requests for information, including your requests for copies of papers relevant to the matter. You are entitled to sufficient information to allow you to participate meaningfully in the development of your matter and make informed decisions regarding the representation.

  • You are entitled to have your legitimate objectives respected by your attorney. In particular, the decision of whether to settle your matter is yours and not your lawyer’s. (Court approval of a settlement is required in some matters.)

  • You have the right to privacy in your communications with your lawyer and to have your confidential information preserved by your lawyer to the extent required by law.

  • You are entitled to have your attorney conduct himself or herself ethically in accordance with New York Rules of Professional Conduct.​
